Classrooms will go awry without healthy and positive bonds established between teacher and preschoolers. You could be avoiding misbehavior in your classroom if you’re focusing on positive bonds more than on classroom discipline. When I personally started to make sure I was forming great relationships with my boy students in my preschool classrooms, I saw a huge improvement in their involvement without having to heavily discipline them. My stress levels decreased and I started to enjoy the silliness and craziness of preschool, without all the bad behavior!
Are you doing all of these things or the majority of these things to form a great relationship with your students? Tell me in the comments about what you’ve used to see success in healthy bond creation.
